The art platform of photography consistently poses the question: "What's MY STORY?" Photographing personal surroundings, documenting other lives and cultures in faraway lands, capturing stories on assignment, shooting wonderful culinary experiences, or taking masterful self portraits…The New York Photo Festival Summer Invitational 2013 wants to see your story.  Our expert panel of judges will review the submissions and the top five vote-getters will receive $2500 in prizes and will be invited to exhibit this summer at the world-renowned POWERHOUSE Arena in Brooklyn, NY. Photographers from all backgrounds and working in any number of photographic medium are encouraged to submit. to submit to MY STORY. (Submission deadline: MIDNIGHT, June 30, 2013) All regular entries will receive a coupon code good for $20 off (students receive $10 off) any book published by powerHouse Books from the POWERHOUSE Arena Online Shop. *Students must have a valid ID (through the Spring 2013) semester in order to qualify for the student discount.
